Authors: Samantha Chase, Noelle Adams, Zoe York

Genre: Contemporary/Holiday Romance

Release Date: October 23, 2018

Three all-new holiday novellas about couples finding love while trapped together in the snow.

A Christmas Rescue (Silver Bell Falls, Book 4) by Samantha Chase

Saving a litter of puppies right before Christmas was incredibly rewarding for Bailey Walsh. But getting snowed in with her sexy-yet-grinchy veterinarian boss turns out to be rewarding in a whole other way.

Stranded in the Snow (Holiday Acres, Book 2) by Noelle Adams

Olivia Holiday doesn’t expect to spend the weekend stranded in a romantic cottage during a snowstorm with the one man she dislikes the most. Scott is a player and holds a grudge against her family, and she’s determined not to give in to the deep feelings for him she’s been hiding.

Love on the Edge of Reason (Pine Harbour, Book 8) by Zoe York

Tom Minelli doesn’t know why Chloe Davis has fled Pine Harbour, but she’s pregnant with his baby and he wants her back. But a winter storm rolls in just as he finds her, trapping them together in a cabin on the lake.

Book Review:

I am a Christmas fanatic. I love all things Christmas and happy endings so the minute I saw this I HAD to jump on it. NO REGRETS. I knew this boxset was doing to be good but I wasn’t expected to be drawn in and captivated in each story.

Each story had a reoccurring theme of being stuck in a snowstorm with someone they hated or couldn’t stand. Each story was very different and held onto your attention. There is nothing like being stuck with someone for a long period of time to force you to get to know someone and worth things out.

My favorite of all three was Stranded In The Snow. I loved how strong the characters were and neither of them relented on standing their ground. Everything they though and felt was all consuming and they fought nonstop but I genuinely loved their banter.

I hope you get to enjoy this book the same way I did. This definitely got me in the spirit for Christmas and I hope it does the same for you.

Harper has been through hell and back. At a young age, she lost both her parents, sister, and the one person she could call her uncle. To top it off, the love of her life broke up with her. Even though she had been through so much she still managed to accomplish her dreams and open the boutique of her dreams. The last thing she expected was for an extremely handsome new landlord to not only buy out her building but also start snooping her in past and begin to ruin everything she’s worked for. Harper had no choice but to reach out to the one person who has the power to destroy whats left of her heart.

Roman has been waiting for the opportunity to get back in Harper’s life. He has regretted being away from her from the minute he left her but never left worthy of her love. As an owner of a Security/PI company, the minute he feels like something isn’t right about Harper’s new building owner, he begins a full investigation and doesn’t allow Harper out of his sight.

As their lives become turned upside down and danger is lurking around the corner, Harper and Roman begin the battle between hate and love. Not only do they have their own issues to work through but they also have the fear of not know who they can trust or how much of their past could ruin them.

It has been such a long time since I have read a book which completely captivated me. I could not put this down no matter what was going on around me. Every time I thought I knew what was coming, Emma Renshaw would throw a curve-ball and catch me by complete surprise. Vow of Atonement was full of suspense with a perfect mix of romance. It was impossible not to fall in love with all of the characters. I highly suggest you run out and grab this book. You will not regret it!!

I slowly look up at his face. That damn smile is finally gone, but the heat pooling in his eyes isn’t better. His eyes are bouncing all around my face before they settle on my lips. I stare at his, too, unable to deny myself from looking at them. The memory of our kiss earlier sends my heart racing.

It’s always been this way between us. Boiling heat before the first touch. My tongue slides out of my mouth, licking my lips.

“Harper.” He whispers my name as if he’s on his knees, praying to everything he finds holy.

My eyes find his again, and I see the worship in his eyes. I let out a breath, barely able to contain my emotions. My eyes flick to his lips one more time. He growls, pouncing on me. One hand winds in my hair, the other landing on my lower back, lifting me against him. His lips crush down on mine, overwhelming every one of my senses.

“Yes, girl,” I hear Valerie shout from somewhere in the distance.

My mouth opens for his. At the first swipe of his tongue, every memory slams into me at once. Every sweet memory. Every fiery memory. Every soul-crushing memory.

I rip my face from his, my eyes stinging with threatening tears. “Put me down now,” I hiss.

Roman drops me down to my feet. He takes his hands off me.

I’m relieved. I’m broken. This can’t happen again. I need it to happen again. Every emotion contradicting the next. He’s not touching me, but he hasn’t stepped back. His heat still sweeping into me and overwhelming me. I take a big step back, finally able to look at him.

“Leave, Roman.” My voice is laced with desperation and heartbreak.

“Not a chance in hell.” His words are strong and forceful, readying for a fight.

“Why? You did it so well the first time.”

He sucks in a tiny breath after I just drew the line in the sand, firmly planting myself on the opposite side. I spin, walking away to our table, blinking away the tears.

I sit down, willing myself not to look at him. I can feel him, though. He hasn’t moved and his eyes are still on me. I feel his caress as if he’s touching me. I squeeze my eyes shut, hating that he has this power after all these years, hating that he still has it after he broke me into tiny shards of myself.

I glance over at him. He walks toward me, stopping at the table next to ours. He picks up a chair, turning it so it faces our table. He sits there watching me, unblinking, unwilling to look anywhere but at me. He drew his own line. He shakes his head slightly.

I know what he’s saying. He didn’t need to mouth the two words, not leaving.

Blog Tour: 13 by Rhonda James

Today we have the blog tour of 13 by Rhonda James! We are so excited to share this sexy new romance with you! Check it out and grab your copy today!

Title: 13

Author: Rhonda James

Genre: Contemporary Romance

About 13:

“Fake it till you make it.”

A notion I once considered utterly ridiculous. Until one crazy night with a mysterious man resulted in a social media frenzy that had the entire entertainment industry talking.

Seems a fake marriage was just what my career needed to make Hollywood come knocking.

Convincing him to continue the charade was almost too easy. The chemistry between us made it impossible to keep my hands to myself. But it was all just pretend, right? Love was never in the script.

That is, until he re-wrote it.

13 Reasons You Should Stay:

  1. I’m crazy about you
  2. I make you laugh
  3. You totally dig me

My Review:

What would you do if you started to fall for the person you’re in a fake relationship with? From the minute Sophie and Hawk meet, there is an instant attraction and spark. Hawk is so smitten that he gives Sophie the bright idea to pretend to be married to get back at her ex. The last thing they expected was to run into each other and not only that but to continue to charade. The more time they spend together the more they fall for each other which then bring the fear of what will happen when its time to call it quits.

I absolutely loved Hawk. He was such a sweet heart and so swoon worthy. He was such a gentleman and always stood his ground on what he believed and never let Sophie persuade him. I loved that he didn’t let his fears stop him from pursuing Sophie.

Sophie was constantly struggling with her feelings and fears. I felt like she had a lot of growing up to do. I loved them together but Sophie on her own I wasn’t a huge fan of.

Overall it is definitely a must read. Some of my favorite “scenes” were when Hawk was performing so trust me for that part alone, you have to check it out.

My Review

Once again Toni Anderson has sucked me into a another story. She has a way of grabbing your attention and never letting go. I have turned into such a fan of Toni Anderson and her romantic suspense novels. If you haven’t tried out the genre or read any of her books, well trust me, ITS TIME.

Alex Parker is finally having the dreams he always thought were unattainable come true. He is just a week away from marrying the beautiful FBI agent Mallory when he gets reminded of his past as an assassin. Jane Sanders asked Alex for help in kidnapping her daughter back who was taken by her ex-husband a few years ago. As an expecting father, Alex can’t help but sympathize and decides to go across seas to get her.

The last night anyone expect was for a massive arms deal to be taking place and every high profile wanted felon to be on site. Alex has no choice but to call in back up but will it be enough? With only a couple days to the wedding Mallory and Alex both start to wonder if Alex will be able to make it to the wedding or if he will be even alive.

Talk about suspense! Everything that could go wrong, went wrong. The unexpected kept happened and all I could do was keep turning pages to find out what would happen next. It felt like my heart was torn between wanting Alex to go home to his pregnant soon to be wife and saving the mother and child. Such a good read!!

As the successful and driven CEO of Lewis Sporting Goods, Dillon rarely has time to eat a home cooked meal, let alone put any time or effort into maintaining an actual relationship. Laurel has been in love with Dillon since she was nine years old. Unfortunately, he’s always seen her as his little sister’s pesky best friend. When Laurel needs help with her business plan, her best friend urges her to seek help from Dillon. My Review:

Laurel has had a rough few years and is finally trying to pick up the pieces of her life and go after her dreams. She wants to expand her parents floral shop to a party planning business. Her parents are stubborn a’holes who refuse to hear her out or help her in any way. Constantly being beaten down, she turns to her best friends brother and long time crush for help with a business plan. She is determined to finally make Dillon notice her but at the risk of ruining her friendship with his twin.

Dillon is a part owner of a fast growing family sporting goods store. He has always hated Laurel for the pranks she and his twin pulled on him as they were growing up. The last thing he wants to do is help out his sister friend but he relents in hopes that she has grown up and changed. The last thing he expected was to spent a weekend away with her and see a side of her he never knew existed. What was supposed to just be a weekend deal has turned into the ultimate struggle on what Dillon really wants and if his desire will beat all the odds.

I LOVED this book. Dillon and Laurel were such wonderful characters and I melting at their chemistry. Laurel was so admirable as she refused to allow hurtful people continue to run her life. She went after what she wanted and seeing her success was amazing. This book really showed how important it is to have a support group to help you through the hard times and pick you up when you are down. We all need encouragement from those we love and this story really showed the extent of it.

Willa can’t deny that Keane’s changed since high school: he’s less arrogant, for one thing—but he doesn’t even remember her. How can she trust him not to break her heart again? It’s time to throw a coin in the fountain, make a Christmas wish–and let the mistletoe do its work…

My Review:

Willa has had a rough go at this thing called life. Even though she has been constantly kicked down, she still made a way for herself and has a pet store which she adores. After a long strong of picking terrible men, Willa decides to go on a men strike and give them up. Fate and the powers of a fountain unfortunately have other ideas.

Keane has been left in charge of his aunts evil cat. This sucker destroys everything in its path leaving Keane no option but to seek help which happens to be Willa and her little shop. From the minute he sees Willa he knows he wants her and bad but she has her walls up and doesn’t want anything to do with him. They have a past that he isn’t aware of and Willa is determined not to let him in on the problem. This doesn’t stop Keane from going after what he wants though.

I absolutely love all things Christmas so when they talk about Willa’s obsession and making her store look like Christmas threw up in there, I’m like YYYYYEEEESSSS. Willa loves to spread the Christmas cheer despite the lack of cheer she grew up with. I loved the banter between Willa and Keane. Neither of them would let anything slide which of course brings more steam between them. They were both such great people that despite their past and anything else they were perfect for each other and you can’t help sitting at the edge of your seat waiting for them to realize the same.
